Today's the last day of the month. I like to reflect on the good changes I made to my life before I set goals for the next month. By consistently trying our best, we will be able to achieve the best. The key is to make deliberate choices every day that move you closer to your goal.
I love Memorial Day Weekend. It's the official kick off to summer fun. But more importantly it's a day to remember what was lost to enjoy our freedom.
We usually start our day at the cemetery, bringing flowers to our daughter, Aria's grave. (Her story here.) I LOVE the cemetery she is buried at. Before her, we would drive by this hilly cemetery and I always commented on how beautiful it was. Now it's even more beautiful to me because a part of my heart is there, between the fourth and fifth tree.
I like to add a little bit of seasonal decor to my home, to help my family feel festive. Sometimes I go all out, like on Halloween and Christmas. But for occasions like Memorial Day, I just like to add subtle touches. I'll get out my red cake stand, I'll display a few flags, I have a few fun patriotic pieces, but nothing too over bearing.
This year, I designed this "Land of the free because of the brave" printable to add to our gallery wall.
Adding something as simple as a printable to your decor can help you embrace the season.
I know you want this framed for your home too, so I created a free 8x10 that you can download for yourself. You're Welcome!
If you use it, let me know how you used it, I would love to see!
Love,
Heather

One of my favorite things about Christmas is the music that goes with it. I especially LOVE Christmas hymns. When there is new snow on the ground, the Christmas lights are glowing, I have my cozies on and sipping on hot cocoa and listening to a Christmas Hymn, all seems right with the world.
I have always loved the Hymn "Silent Night." It is such a sacred song and always brings peace to my heart. I wanted to have a print to go in my frame that I found at the D.I. and I thought that "all is calm. all is bright." would be just perfect for that space. This is the table in our entry, and I hope it sets the tone for our home.
Peace. Joy. Love. I want to fill my home with the CHRISTmas spirit.
I created this printable free for you so you can bring in the CHRISTmas spirit to your home too. Let me know how you use it!
There are a few more days left before Thanksgiving, so there is time to print off one of these fun printables to bring a bit of gratitude to your table setting.
I made this one last year, and I actually keep it up all year long. It's such a great reminder for my little family.
The Happy Harvest print is just a happy giddy print. I framed this and put it up on my front porch.
How cute is this Home Sweet Home print? I have this all our gallery wall with our family pictures.
I framed this next print in Dollar Store gold frames and handed out to the girls I visit teach.
I think this one is my favorite. I have this framed in my kitchen.
I made this next one with a wreath from We lived Happily Ever After.
These printables are free for personal use. Let me know which one is your favorite!
