I bought some fun summer 12x12 scrapbook papers and a package of colorful brads from the craft store, and that's al you need.  We cut each scrapbook paper into 4th's, so then we had 6x6 paper to work with.

Then we just hot glued them to the foam form and VOILLA!!!  You have an adorable summer wreath.

The key to making this gathering succuseful is to put extra attention into every detail.  You are celebrating the love between friends.  The bond between mother and daughter.

I feel really lucky because for the most part (except for ONE first grade teacher) my kids have always had great teachers.  Teaching is so hard, and putting up with our little darlings day in and day out has got to be so dang exhausting!

With Teachers Appreciation Week next week I wanted to get something for my daughter's teacher that she could help me make, and something that her teacher would appreciate!  I work down at the school a lot, and so I've talked with many of the teachers down there and they honestly ALL said they like things made by the kids.  How cute are they?

So we went to the craft store and bought this sheet of stickers and this globe was from Tai Pan, but I've seen globes everywhere, from Target to Hobby Lobby.

I realized this year that I don't have a lot of Valentine's Day decor.  I love to decorate for the fall months, Halloween is my favorite, and then Christmas always takes up so much energy.  By the time February comes around I find myself craving a clean and simple house.

I was looking at Pinterest one night, and realized that I could still decorate for Valentines Day and keep a clean and simple home.  So I pulled together some supplies and came up with this really easy sign.  I have it in my entryway and I LOVE it.  It makes me happy every time I see it.

How to:  Love sign
Supplies:  1 piece of foam board, 4 pieces of scrapbook paper,
scissors and glue
This project is really easy, but adds a dramatic look to your room.  I traced each letter from my computer screen in the font
that I wanted.  I then cut each letter out of the scrapbook paper then glued it onto the foam board.  Then you have a beautiful piece of art work for your Valentines decor.
