Are you ready for some Football!? We LOVE Football! And when college football started again we dusted off our game day shirts and got out the snacking recipes.
Here are 3 of our favorites. (Pictures aren't the best. Sadly my lens was not working and I didn't realize it until I already uploaded them and ate all the food!)
Loaded Potato Skins
3 large baking potatoes (washed)- Olive Oil
- Kosher salt
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Bacon bits
- Sour Cream
- Green Onions
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400°. Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Wash potatoes and then cut the ends of the potatoes off and throw them away. Cut the rest of the potatoes into about 1/2 inch slices.
Brush both sides of potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place on the foil covered pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until lightly browned. (turn potatoes over about halfway through cooking to brown both sides.
When potatoes are done, top with cheese, bacon and green onions. Continue baking for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Top with sour cream and enjoy!

Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Wings
- 1 Bag of Frozen Chicken Wings, thawed
- 1 bottle BBQ Sauce {18 oz.}
- 1 Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Mix packet {1 oz.}
- Place Chicken Wings in Crock pot. Cover with lid and cook on High for 2.5 hours.
- After 2.5 hours, remove juices from crock pot.
- In small mixing bowl, combine Ranch Packet and BBQ Sauce and stir well.
- Pour mixture over chicken. Cover, and cook for additional 30 minutes more, or until done. ENJOY!!
Football Queso
- 1 lb. lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 2 lbs. block of Velveeta, cubed
- 2 (10 oz.) cans Rotel (original, mild, or hot- whatever your preference), drained
- 1 (7 oz.) can diced, roasted green chiles
- 1 Bag of Chips
Spray crock pot with non-stick spray. Add cheese, cooked ground beef, the cans of Rotel and the can of chiles to your crock pot. Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to incorporate all ingredients. Serve with Chips and enjoy!
